Chase Sapphire Lounges by The Club are the bank’s answer to the Amex Centurion Lounge: full-service lounges with real food, cocktails and, at some locations, showers and quiet rooms. They are run by Airport Dimensions (the company behind The Club) and are free for Sapphire Reserve cardmembers. This guide lists every location Chase publishes, the exact access and guest rules, what the day-pass situation really is, and how the lounges compare with Capital One and Amex.

Locations and rules are from Chase’s lounge network page and the Sapphire Lounge terms of use published by Airport Dimensions (updated September 1, 2026). In-terminal locations come from our own lounge database, built from per-lounge guides. All checked Oct 21, 2026.

Notes: Chase’s lounge page lists DFW as a location, while the Sapphire Reserve benefits page described DFW and LAX as “coming in 2026”, so confirm DFW in the Chase app before you plan around it. LAX is listed as coming soon and is not counted. The IAD location is the Etihad Lounge, which Chase lists in its network.

Who gets in free

Per Chase, complimentary access goes to:

Chase Sapphire Preferred is not on Chase’s eligible list. Preferred cardholders would need a day pass where one is sold.

What you need at the door

Bring your physical eligible Chase card or your Chase-issued Priority Pass Select membership, plus a boarding pass for a same-day departing flight. Chase says you can enter within three hours of departure. The Airport Dimensions terms add that connecting passengers may enter up to five hours before a connecting flight from the same airport. They also say you can leave and come back within your three-hour window, subject to availability, and that entry can be refused within 30 minutes of closing.

Since October 25, 2025, eligible cardmembers are enrolled in Priority Pass automatically. The digital membership card lives in the Chase Mobile app under More › Airport lounges.

Guest rules

Each eligible cardmember can bring up to two guests per visit free. Chase says any additional guests cost $27 each, and there is no charge for children under two. Because authorized users on a Sapphire Reserve account are eligible cardmembers in their own right, two cardholders traveling together can bring four guests between them, two each. That is one of the most generous guest policies of any US bank lounge since Capital One started charging Venture X guests in February 2026.

Can you buy a Chase Sapphire Lounge day pass?

Sometimes. The Airport Dimensions terms say day passes may be sold to travelers without an access entitlement where offered, that they are not available at every lounge, and that the price, booking window and length of stay are set by each lounge and shown at the point of sale. Chase does not publish a single day-pass price, so we do not list one. If you need a pass, check the lounge’s page in the booking flow on the day; popular lounges such as LGA and BOS are more likely to be capacity-controlled.

Five things to know before you go

Is Sapphire Lounge access a reason to choose a card?

It depends almost entirely on where you fly. The network is concentrated in a handful of big East Coast, Southwest and Texas airports: Boston, New York (JFK and LaGuardia), Philadelphia, Washington Dulles, Las Vegas, Phoenix, San Diego and, per Chase, Dallas/Fort Worth. If one of those is your home airport, the combination of free entry, two free guests per cardmember and free authorized-user access is hard to beat among US bank lounges right now. If none of them is on your regular routes, the Sapphire Lounges are a nice extra, and the Priority Pass and Air Canada lounge benefits will matter more. Open your home airport’s page here to see which lounges a Sapphire Reserve card actually opens in your terminal.

Beyond the Sapphire Lounges

Sapphire Reserve also includes Priority Pass Select, which Chase says covers more than 1,300 Priority Pass lounges with up to two guests free. Chase also lists access to select Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounges and Air Canada Cafés in the US, Canada and Europe when you fly any Star Alliance carrier, with one complimentary guest. In the US that includes LAX, SFO and LGA. See our Priority Pass lounge list for the Priority Pass lounges at your airport.
